Krylios is a speaker, host, writer, producer, and content creator based in Washington, DC. He is an announcer for “The Ask Rayceen Show,” the monthly live series hosted by D.C. legend Rayceen Pendarvis at the HRC Equality Center, from March to November. He became involved with Team Rayceen in 2016, while he was still a Broadcast Journalism student at Howard University. His passion for community upliftment and LGBTQ advocacy was what inspired him to become active in the community and it is what drives him in his many pursuits to this day. A keen writer and storyteller, Krylios performs his long-form prose and short stories in various reading rooms and at literary events across the District. His experience as a queer, black Caribbean man living in America has provided him with a unique lens through which he tells his stories and how he performs on stage. Unabashedly expressive, strong-willed and distinctive; Krylios lives his life as equal parts Bob Marley, RuPaul, and Ta-Nehisi Coates, with a healthy dose of Tiffany Pollard and Crystal LaBeija thrown in for good measure.
